Salt Spray Chamber Adjustment Abnormalities

During the operation of a salt spray chamber, malfunctions may occur due to power outages, operational errors, or other reasons. How can these issues be resolved without compromising the reliability and accuracy of the test results?

1. Adjustment of Salt Spray Settling Volume

• Adjust the distance between the cap tip at the top of the spray tower and the spray nozzle—the greater the distance, the higher the settling volume.
• Adjust the spray pressure valve—higher MPa results in greater salt spray settling, as MPa is directly proportional to the settling volume.

2. Adjustment of Continuous vs. Intermittent Spray

Before testing, select either "continuous" or "intermittent" spray mode based on test requirements.

• For continuous spray, turn on the "continuous" switch.
• For intermittent spray, turn on the "intermittent" switch (the interval time should be preset on the time relay).
